TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Two-time All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson left Minnesota's game against Tampa Bay in the first quarter on Sunday with an ankle injury and was ruled out in the second half.
Jefferson watched from the sideline for a couple of series before walking to the locker room midway through the second quarter. It appeared Jefferson got hurt when a defender fell onto his right ankle.
Jefferson had two catches for 32 yards from Kyler Murray, who was returning after sustaining a concussion in Week 1.
The Buccaneers lost wideout Jalen McMillan for the rest of the game because of a knee injury.
